Oversized, in an awkward way
July 20, 2022This is a beautiful shirt as far as fabric, color, and detailing are concerned. The oversized fit is off the charts, however. The shoulders fit well at the top, but the drop below the armpits is more than oversized; it's a good 3-4 inches below the arms. As a result, if you want to raise your arms above the chest, the entire shirt raises up with the arm rather than the arm lifting up independently. Awkward. The oversized/boxy middle is annoying, but livable. To my disappointment, the sleeves are both too wide in the cuff and too long in length. I can flip up the cuff--flat part and ruffle--and the sleeves hit at the right place. This is the opposite problem I usually have with shirts! I even checked the size to make sure it was correct. I would size down, but the next size is sold out. Sigh.

Very Pretty Style
July 10, 2022Very pretty blouse; however, it is darker than the photo shows. It fits true to size, and I love the style. Please offer more ruffle-neck and sleeve blouses. I am glad I got the blouse on sale and would buy it again.

Not J Crew’s usual chambray
June 25, 2022I have many of J Crew chambray shirts. This one was a big disappointment & has already gone to Goodwill. I have classic fit shirts & know they run big. Ordered my usual size 4 in the classic fit. I don’t mind a little extra room. This one fit almost like a short dress. The cuffs were huge when buttoned. And the overall material was thin and felt quite cheap. Got it on sale, no return. No one I know wanted it. Just donated it.
