Classic-fit short puff-sleeve top in Liberty® Eloise floral

If you were lusting after this item and it was sold out, let me just put your mind at ease that you missed out on nothing. Unfortunately I cant return this item because it was a FINAL SALE. The fabric itself is quality and is lovely. The problem though, is in the execution of the puff sleeve structure. The cut was WAAAAAY too poofy and billowy, such that it would make even a skinny girl look huge, heavy and matronly, like an outfit from the 1800s. Absolutely UN-flattering to the maxx!! Not cute on at all. The lack of flattering tailoring and proper proportioning of the sleeves design just leaves one feeling like a 50 yr old heavy set matronly laundress from 1872. ?! JCrew needs to do a better job with reviewing their garment samples from their factory's execution. UN-flattering execution! This one is a complete dud despite the pretty and good quality Liberty fabric.

This shirt is so cute and the print is lovely. Nice piece to have. The shirt runs true to size For reference I’m 5 3’ , 143 lbs. and purchased a size 8.

I love this blouse. Crisp, beautiful colors and perfect for me.

I am a little “ on the fence” about the puffed sleeve silhouette in fashion at present. This isn’t too exaggerated, which I prefer, and being cotton holds it’s shape. It’s also slightly longer which helps. Doesn’t look like a pair of wings. The print is a very pretty one. It’s true to size. I’m between a Large and an XL in J Crew. I found the Large was the correct fit.

Absolutely love this top! The liberty floral is great and it looks so adorable tucked into high waisted linen pants!
