Classic popover shirt in crinkle gingham

I liked the way this looked very much in the photo. Unfortunately, the material is so thin it really doesn't have the crisp look I thought it would. The quality is not good enough to wear as business casual and the style isn't camp enough for quarantine wear. I wish I could return it!! Was a final sale! I'll never buy Final Sale again...always a good reason.

Super thin fabric, soft, not stiff or overstarched. So wonderfully comfortable I came back to see if I could get another color, but I'm too late. Please make it again next season in more colors!

I love this shirt, very light material and beautiful colors. It is a little short but not a big issue for me. I didn’t wash it yet. I am planning to hand wash and air dry.

Love this for hot summer days as it's paper thin (but not see though) and loose. I'm 5'5 and 140 34C and ordered a S and its a perfect fit. Since the material is so thin and gauzy it does have a wrinkle to it that is uniform all over so no need to steam. I imagine this would be a great shirt to pack as it's "meant" to wrinkle.

So I own four gingham shirts from JCREW. I routinely replace them over the years always with the same colors. So when I spied this beauty in a true khaki I had to have it! The cotton softened naturally after a few wears. I should mention I do not put my 'all' cotton shirts in the dryer. It helps to preserve the color and longevity of the material. The cut is slightly fitted, different than the JCREW boy-cut, which tends to be boxier. My only complaint is I wish it came in more colors.

Very lightweight but not sheer. True to size. Haven't washed it yet so I don't know how much ironing it will require.
