Collection silk tuxedo tunic

This is an elegant and classy looking top. The fabric is lovely, the color is really nice and it hangs beautifully. I keep looking at it and I cant wait for an opportunity to wear it. I do plan on changing the buttons but I am still giving a 5 rating because it is so exquisite.

I agree with one reviewer before that the material does not feel 100% silk. Although the material is a bit heavier than other silk, it is see through. I would have hoped it being more heavy silk and no need for a cami wear but bra. Probably would have returned if it is not final sale.

This is a longer than usual very well constructed silk blouse. It’s got a matte finish and long sleeves. It goes well under a vest or a blazer (but is good alone too). The buttons are very noticeable but I think add to the uniqueness of the top.

My work is in natural fiber textiles like silk, linen, wool. I knew as soon as I opened the bag that this shirt was not made from 100% silk. It looks and feels more like a cheap, thin, shiny polyester. I agree with other reviewers that the buttons are cheap as well. It was a final sale purchase so I’m stick with it. I rated it two stars because it is a unique design and it fits well.

I bought this in black, and love it. I took my usual size 6, and it fits true to size. The extra long cuffs are nice looking, but not at all practical as they go all the way over my hands, and I'm 5'7". I took this to my tailor and she shortened the sleeves. I will note that this is not a cheap alteration if you want to keep the french cuffs, which I did. My tailor did note that the quality of the silk/design was beautiful - I'm not really sure what the other commenters are talking about. I would put the quality of this blouse on par with my designer pieces. I'm thinking of going back for this in ivory, although I'm not excited about shelling out the money for another sleeve alteration.
