Collection silk twill ruffle-collar top

Very lovely blouse, elegant, yet not pretentious. Can be easily be worn with jeans, as well, as a part of a casual evening outfit. Fabric is not translucent. Fits true to size. I got XL (my usual size from J.Crew), and it fits like a generous dress size 14.

I was so excited to get this top it is a very elegant look the color is stunning. I ordered the purple or eggplant colored. I ordered my usual S. for reference I am 5'3 130 pounds. the fit is true to size highly recommend.

Wish petite length (especially on sleeves) were available but apart from that it is a beautiful, feminine, silk blouse. Good J Crew quality and details.

This is a beautifully design button up top with the softest silk however it does run slightly large overall. I typically wear a medium in Jcrew tops because I’m 34E but I could have ordered small.

Not a good quality silk top, the feel of the fabric is very thin and light, it doesn't have the "weight" that a typical silk shirt should present. The ruffle collar is huge and not flatten at all, and again, because of the poor quality of the silk fabric used, it is like wearing a bib around, rather than a pretty draped ruffle collar. The white color is more in a bright cool tone, making it looks very cheap, could be better if it is a warm soft white.

I bought all 3 colors, two in medium and one in large. First, as other reviewers have said, these are made of a gorgeous and substantial silk. They are quite roomy but still flattering, though I wish I would have purchased all of them in medium (I'm typically an 8-10 in J. Crew, but I don't like tight tops). In any case the black is a classic, and the purple is a beautiful color, but what surprised me was how stunning the ivory shirt is! It's lustrous and luxe, and looks way more expensive than it is. I'm keeping all 3 and I think I will get a lot of wear out of them. A great buy, especially on sale!
