Not as expected.
April 10, 2022I was so excited to receive this top - but it came today and the label is half undone and there was make up on the placket. The top was also extremely wrinkled. I am a life long Jcrew customer and almost never disappointed in what I purchase.

Nice, but too sheer
January 25, 2022My own mistake for not reading the reviews that the blouse was sheer. Bought the pale sky color. What a waste of money considering the product description didn't even say it was sheer.

What a shame/waste.
January 23, 2022Such a disappointment. I added it on a whim based on the good reviews, but I should have paid attention to the fabric content. The fabric's an atrocity. It's a stiff, scratchy, plasticky, mesh-backed velvet with a cheap shine, not the lustre or lay of a better quality velvet. I got it in light blue and it reminds me of the material used on children's cheap princess costumes. Plus, it's translucent. That specific issue may not apply to the other colors, but on blue the back facing of the button placket is clearly visible through the front, and the cuff is a different shade than the sleeve bc it's doubled and therefore opaque by comparison. The terrible shame is that the cut is absolutely lovely. If they hadn't cheaped out on this nightmare material, it would have been a beautiful piece. As is, though, it's a total waste of money even on final clearance. I trashed it immediately after trying it on. Bummer.
