Embroidered smocked top in cotton poplin stripe

I saw this and was going to get it for myself (would still love to have it), but saw how it was cut and thought my mother would love it even more as it's perfect for her. Well, it arrived today and it's gorgeous. She will only wear vertical stripes, and is petite but has a late 70s gorgeous pear shape she has yet to grow confident about. This cut is perfect for her narrow shoulders and pear midsection. I think it would work well for every shape! She was truly overjoyed to see that she could wear something so beautiful. Thank you, J. Crew! :) --Got her a M, she tends to think she needs a L in most tops now, to accommodate her shape. I think this is consistent with J. Crew running slightly large in tops. She's now about 5'0" and 145.

Love the bright pink embroidery and crisp blue/white stripes. Fun and stylish. My favorite so far.

Love it. The pink details really pop. Like neon pop! Might run a bit large. 5’3 125lbs. Got xs fits well. A little big in shoulders and I have broad shoulders. Looks pretty on. Many compliments.
