Eyelet-embroidered top

This fabric was rough on my skin. The shirt was also huge. At 5'10 155#, I *used* to be a M in J.Crew. I'm now an XS/S (even though I haven't changed weight...). The vanity sizing this season has made it next to impossible to shop J.Crew without going into a store.

really wish this came out earlier in the summer season! i've worn it twice and gotten so many compliments with the neck detailing and the adorable eyelet wrists. the length is great with a ponte knit legging, cropped chinos, or light wash denim. the fabric is light and airy. 38G bust so ordered XXL just in case - honestly didn't need to and should have exchanged for a smaller size but it arrived in time for a socially distanced event that night so i kept it and haven't been afraid to put it in the dryer for a few minutes before air drying. i also love that it came in black as many of j.crew's summer pieces lean toward their classic navy (who can blame them with that?). will be wearing this through september and all next spring and summer! *one note is at the bottom of the v-neck where the fabric intersects, it is open under the crossover so if you're busty, be careful it doesn't pull and show the girls without your consent :)
