Big, especially in the arms
February 4, 2025Good fabric, just an OK fit for me. I'm a size 6, 35" bust, 28" waist with narrow shoulders. I bought a 6 but probably should have sized down once. There is extra fabric in the body (understandable with the "classic" fit), and the arm holes are a bit big/low. I've been noticing this in a lot of clothing lately, and i assume it's more about accommodating a wider variety of body types than it is about style. Or maybe i'm just getting old...but on me it looks a bit sloppy unless i tuck or tie it. The fabric wrinkles very easily (cotton lawn, ofc it does), but steams out nicely. I've washed twice in cold water, hung to dry, and there has been no fading! The colors are very flattering for cool skin tones, which can be harder to find. Aside from really, really wishing i could exchange for a smaller size, I'm very happy with this shirt. If you typically must size up due to bust or upper arms, you won't have to with this! If you're petite or narrow in the shoulder, do size down. JCrew: Please START PUTTING GARMENT MEASUREMENTS ON YOUR CLOTHING. Your fits are not consistent and i am constantly passing on good deals due to uncertainty. I'd be much more likely to take a gamble on final sale clothing.
