Perfect shirt in crinkle gingham

This shirt always gets comments. The colors are great and it fits well. It's very comfortable and great for layering since it's not too heavy.

I really like the unusual orange-and-purple color combination. The orange is slightly duller in person than the product photos, but that's not a bad thing. Although the colors are autumnal, this shirt is very light weight and most suitable for summer. The sleeves are easy to roll up. My 5'5", 105lbs, and got 0. It fits well. For comparison, I wear 00 in this year's boy shirt in crinkle gingham.

Love this shirt but it is a tight fit as most perfect sized, button-down shirts go. By tight, I mean it fits the figure snug and accents curves. I always have to go up one size in any perfect shirt & you will not get a loose fit even going up one, just a regular fit. I liked the coral-persimmon color mixed with a dark checked pattern. I could not wear this color without the dark color combination. It's not for cool weather or winter, but buy it and keep it for spring or summer. The different color mix was the appeal for me. I live in a warm climate, so the lightweight doesn't bother me at all. Keep all in mind when you are thinking about purchasing this shirt. I notice it's at a really good sale price, so that's a plus too.

I love the simple elegance of a JCrew perfect shirt. Have a closet full of them. So I was drawn to this one in a funky gingham color mix. A print perfect shirt. That's different. Fully aware at purchase that this is "crinkle gingham" I thought I had a reasonable expectation of what I ordered. Apparently not. Though I liked the colors and the concept, this is a total overpriced "fast fashion" product. Cheap fabric. Cheap buttons. And it ran small. Returned it.

The fit was true to to size but I really loved the color. The picture online doesn't do it justice and it looked more red to me. In person the colors are a very pretty bright coral orange and purple. Really pretty for fall. I wore it with an orange colored cashmere v-neck sweater.

First off, the fabric is thin on this shirt. It feels more like a summer weight shirt. I bought this to wear primarily with jeans for everyday wear. The fit was not flattering for me. While a 0 was the right size (5'4, 110), I didn't like how the body was fitted through the torso, and then flared out a little at the bottom. I think it would have been better with a straighter, fitted silhouette all the way down to the bottom hem. I am sending this one back.
