Puff-sleeve smocked cotton poplin top

A happy find! Don’t have many these days, even with four thrifts nearby. Adore square neck blouses, & all over it whenever J. Crew releases theirs. I bought the black & was very pleased w/ fabric. It is not cheap feeling as some of my more recent Crew blouses have been, sadly. The sleeves need to be about two and a half inches longer for this to be a perfect J. Crew offering. I removed a star because of this only. Smocking is beautiful and not done so tight one is invoke to breathe.it fits perfectly with generous give. It makes me sad and frustrated to see cut corners all over on J. Crew in this manner these days. It used to be so exciting to get your catalogs and make detailed lists of *what I was going* to order & how I would pay for it . *My roaring twenties/ early thirties J. Crew—a huge part of it. PLEASE bring back quality clothing items we dearly loved & bought the heck out of.

This blouse looks and fits better than expected. Good quality. Definable size up! I typically get a xs or xxs but got a small based on other reviews and fits perfectly.

Love this shirt. Wore it with black sweater skirt, black Gigi pants, looked great.

I liked the idea of this shirt! I order from J.crew all the time, and have never experienced a fit as off as this blouse. I sized up to a medium and it was still tiny. I thought it might fit like their smocked puff sleeve dress, but that was not the case. It was very small, and very short. If you are very petite, it might work if you size up? For me at 5' 8" it was way way too short.

This top is so pretty. I love the color and smocked details. You can easily dress it up or down. For reference, I’m wearing a medium and it fits so good. So glad I purchased this top!

Very flattering neckline - i will wear this for holiday gatherings, even works for zoom parties. The material is light so it will work for warmer months too. It’s short, almost cropped if i was taller. The caramel color is more light brown than orange irl
