Shirt Jacket
March 18, 2022This is certainly a flannel shirt jacket. It is the same as item BD539, which I purchased in two colors about a month ago and this one, BD535, just received today in lavender. All three are the same cut/style, fabric and fit. It is TTS. It is perfectly relaxed/slightly oversized (not sloppy at all). I am always between 4-6 (small). Though size 4 fits, size 6 is perfect for intended style and fit. Also, soft right weight and warmth, body and sleeve length are just right!

This is NOT a shirt
February 28, 2022As others have mentioned, this is NOT a shirt, this is a light jacket. I have over a dozen of J. Crew plaid/button down shirts, some double layer, and this is way bulkier and oddly shaped than any of them. Much shorter than my other shirts seem to be and so bulky that I can't even roll up the sleeves. Also, half the snaps don't stay snapped. Very disappointed in this item. If you are still considering it, I strongly urge you to look at it in person before buying.

Substantial flannel shirt
January 27, 2022I was so psyched to see a flannel shirt in a lavender colorway and this did not disappoint! It’s perfect for the transition from winter to spring. I am 105 lbs and a 32B and the 00 is very roomy on me.

January 27, 2022I had been eyeing this flannel since before the holiday season and snatched it up when it went on sale. I’d absolutely pay full price for this! Highly recommend! I am 5’1”, 140 lbs. I usually wear a 4-6 in J.Crew flannels and button ups (usually need a 6 for slim cut in my shoulders). I ordered a 4 in this particular style. It fits perfect! Plenty of room to wear a long sleeve or thin sweater underneath. Not too long, covers my bum. It will be perfect with jeans and leggings. I think this will be a great fall, winter and spring piece for many years to come. I’ll wear it as a shirt and as a “shacket”. The fabric is thick and soft. Exactly how I want flannel to be. Love the snaps as well. THIS IS A WINNER, J.CREW!

Gorgeous colors!
January 7, 2022I fell in love with this shirt/jacket at first sight when it popped up in my email! I wear an XS in nearly everything J. Crew, except for their relaxed fit shirts. These always fit me best in a size 00. It’s still VERY roomy but not huge-sloppy looking as the 0 might’ve been. Excellent heavyweight flannel, this will be a great transitional piece from winter to spring, and the colors are beautiful!!! (for reference, I’m 5-1”, 117lbs and 32C)
