Ruffleneck cotton-blend flannel popover in Berkshire plaid

I really liked the look of this in the pictures but sadly it looks strange on me. I was expecting it to be loose but it just billows out in all the wrong places. The worst part is that the sleeves are too short and I’m 5’3! I really wish J Crew would just publish garment measurements because there is zero consistency from item to item.

This is a nice shirt. It fits true to size. I look forward to wearing it with a black skirt or jeans. A classic piece.

Depending on brands, I can wear a medium to size large, sometimes a small or x-large, but typically I'm either a 10 or 12. I purchased a medium in this top. It's thinner flannel, not the kind you sleep or camp in. I wore it to work tucked into my Kate straight leg pants, and wore a pair of lined moccasins--it all looked put together. I tried it on with jeans and still looked good. I wasn't going to keep it because of no reason other than I don't have a lot of space in my closet, but I'm glad I did.
