Slim-fit shirt in Liberty^® Toutouayette fabric

I agree with another reviewer that it was disappointing this shirt did not have the pattern on the inside. You would not note its absence if you wore the shirt with a sweater; however, if worn alone, and depending on how many buttons you button, others may see the lack of pattern on the interior. I highly suggest J. Crew NOT make their shirts this way again. Unfortunatley this is also true of the purple pattern.

Based on other reviews I wasn't too sure about purchasing this blouse. I love the Liberty prints and the price was right so I pulled the trigger. Glad I did. The colors are really nice and work well together. The fit is slim and a nice change from the poofy overdone sleeves. Long enough to wear with leggings or a half-tuck with jeans. Great blouse!

This shirt is see through and runs large. The inside of the shirt fabric is white, not the rich color you see on the outside: Prior Liberty shirts have two layers of fabric to avoid this. If you zoom in on one of the model pictures you can see the white side peeking through. Clever photography by jcrew to hide it. The shirt sleeves cannot be rolled because of the white side and the collar has to stay buttoned up to avoid looking like a mess. Feels like I’m wearing tissue paper. Very dissatisfied.

This shirt is a beautiful print of lavender and hot pink! I wore it with a lavender JCrew crew neck. It makes you feel happy and warm during these cold months! It will be great in the spring too!

If considering this shirt, I think the only question is: do you wear red? It's a gorgeous fabric. I know some reviewers have been bothered by the fact that these Liberty prints are on only one side of the fabric. Actually, this has never bothered me. Yes, I'd highly recommend this shirt. Yes, it's an unusual print and, to me, that's another point in its favor. It's very beautiful. I sized up as I always do with J Crew slim fit, though that might not have really been necessary with this one. I don't like my shirts tight so didn't want to take a chance on that.

Liberty of London cotton fabric has long been regarded for its high qualities, including the printing process that results in nearly the same pattern and vivid colors on the wrong side of the fabric as on the right side. This is NOT that fabric. This fabric doesn’t have the same lovely hand as L of L’s traditional cotton and the wrong side of this fabric looks like a cheap quilting cotton. This change may not be JCrew’s doing but JC should uphold an expectation of quality for their customers.
