Smocked puff-sleeve linen top in zinnia floral

I got this shirt and it seemed a little big but I tucked it in and it looks beautiful. The fabric is great quality. Comfortable. Not too thin. My new go to. I get a ton of compliments.

I love this top. The color is lighter than it appears in the photos but it’s so pretty and very polished. It’s lightweight so it’ll be perfect for summer. The fit is true to size and the length is perfect for my long torso. I’m a non-curvy size 8 so I ordered medium.

I purchased this top in Spanish Villa. I love the floral pattern and the colors. I used the reviews for the same top in solid colors to gage what size to order. I really wish I would have gone with my judgment and ordered a size up. I am normally a size 16 in J Crew. This fits perfectly but I was ordering my true size because everyone else said to size down because it runs big. To be honest…it doesn’t seem oversized to me. It’s actually a little snug across my arms and chest. If you are plus sized I would recommend ordering your normal size or sizing up! I have broad shoulders and thick arms with a 38DDD chest…the xxl fits ever so slightly on the snug side. It also feels boxy (this doesn’t bother me) and short. When I raise my arms there is about 2 inches of belly showing. That is a problem for me since I’m self conscious about my midsection. If you are too you’ll have to wear this top with high rise jeans and skirts.
