Gorgeous and refreshing
June 2, 2024Beautiful top. I have a soft spot for gingham and poplin. The design is magnificent and the quality is JCrew, which means that you could not be disappointed. I am 5’2” 110lbs so the XXsmall was perfect.

Nice quality! Wrong proportions
August 18, 2023The quality of this top really impressed me. It is structured enough for the ruffles to keep their shape for a very clean look. However, the proportions were way off for me. I wear a S in JCrew T-shirts and ordered an XS in this top. The straps were way too long (about 2" too long) and the body was too wide (about 1.5") However, because I wear 65H bra, the chest fit and I'm not sure if XXS would have been better. I'm going to consult my tailor on this, but it might be too much trouble to adjust.

Disappointing Waste of Money
August 11, 2023I purchased this after reading reviews about sizing and the straps and decided to have the straps tailored to be shorter. Unfortunately, this did not help. It seems the straps are sewn/angled so that falling off the shoulder like in the model picture is unavoidable. If you are ok with that or have wide shoulders, get this top! It is beautiful. But if you're like me and would be irritated by constantly falling straps, don't buy or get tailored.

Cute top but has issues
August 10, 2023This is a very pretty summery top, looks equally great with navy linen pants, navy maxi skirt, white jeans, etc. Unfortunately, while it is a well-made garment, the lining is synthetic, so that is not ideal for warm weather. The straps do indeed fall down if you don't use the bra fasteners. So I'd recommend it with those caveats, especially at the sale price.

shoulder fasteners are the secret
July 23, 2023I love the square neckline of this top and the cut is flattering but not too snug. I was at first frustrated that the shoulder straps kept falling off and would need to safety pin to my bra. But when I got to work with the safety pins, I discovered little snap fasteners that loop around the bra strap. They are totally unnoticeable but secure the over shoulder piece perfectly. Great design that makes this top a 10 for me. Walking down the street I had 2 people comment on it!

Very Cute!
July 10, 2023This gingham top is a return to a feminine, classic style. It is well made, has a nice fabric weight, a perfect length, and despite the straps being too long, the top itself fits true to size. The full length zipper in the back, and the bra clip in each strap are very nice details. I reluctantly returned due to the strap length, although I feel sure they were made longer to be worn off the shoulder(s) as in the picture. And, there was no way for me to hide the front of my bra on each side at the base of each strap.
