V-neck top in Friday plaid

I bought 3 JCrew blouses all with the same issue - extreme vanity sizing. I am 5'5", 120 lbs, and I typically wear a size 00 or 0, and XXS or XS. I ordered XXS based on the loose fit in the pictures. All 3 tops were more like a petite XXL. For context, an XS sweater which fits me from another brand is 13.75" across the waist laying flat. These tops were 18 1/2", 19 1/4", 20 1/4" across the waist. That is an additional ~10" of fabric in circumference, which added unflattering bulk. The arms are similarly oversized but short (not quite 3/4 length, very awkward). I looked as if I had gained 50 lbs instantaneously. They were purchased for a great price on final sale, but now I know why. These will get donated, so a poor buy in the end. JCrew used to be about quality; this is very disappointing.

This is beautiful fabric and well madw, but it runs large. A small normally works for me, but the neck was impossibly big. Other than that, it probably would have been great. The fabric is really nice though. Maybe order down a size.

There were no reviews on this top and I really wondered why give the sales price and cuteness although I Don’t think I can recommend this top after receiving it.
