Button-front linen-cupro blend skirt

I bought this skirt and knew it was a final sale. HOWEVER, it has to be sized wrong!! I ordered my regular J.Crew size 12. (I have ordered other skirts and a lot of shorts.) I could barely get it over my hips and there is no chance of zipping it as there is at least a 3-4 inch gap. When I hold it up against my other J.Crew skirts and J.Crew shorts the waist band is considerably smaller...AT LEAST 3-4 inches. I chatted online with a representative and basically was told tough luck, there are reviews (nowhere in the reviews did anyone say that it ran 4 sizes smaller than it was marked)! If it was an actual size 12 there would be no problem. DO NOT BUY THIS OR ANY OTHER ITEMS WITH A WAISTBAND ON FINAL SALE!!!

I purchased the black in a size 2. Fit fine and I loved it so much I decided to buy the sand color but they didn't have a 2, so I bought the 4 figuring if it was a little loose, it would be ok because honestly a little extra room would be ok. When I opened it I knew right away it was going to be an issue - not only was it not a size 4, I questioned whether it was even a size 2. I held it up next to my size 2, and it was smaller - closer to a 0. I measured it with my tape measure and zipper to seam, it was almost an inch smaller in the waist than my size 2. And this is a size 4?? Of course, now - I can't replace it because everything is sold out - the smallest size available is a 6 and honestly I don't even know what size to buy. The 2 in a black fits perfect but the size 4 in the sand is smaller than the 2 in the black. Ridiculous. The quality control at JCREW is making me really rethink my shopping choices.

I love this skirt! Wish I could keep it, unfortunately I’m sending it back. I purchased it for a photo shoot along with the top. that’s paired with it on the website. The skirt has a faded look to it. Top is dark/rich black. I’m normally a size 12/180lbs in J Crew bottoms fits perfect.
