This wool flannel ruffle skirt is getting lots of love for being cute, flirty, and still office-friendly, making it easy to dress up or down for work and weekends. Customers especially like how flattering and versatile it is, with several saying it works well for curvy figures and bigger hips. Fit-wise, it tends to run large, so many customers suggested sizing down, sometimes by one or two sizes. Overall, it’s seen as an easy, go-to skirt for fall with a polished look.

Super flattering and cute
May 17, 2018Great for work and weekends. Very flattering on bigger hips. One of the few pieces I don't have to tailor for a flattering fit. It even looks cute with a blazer. I'm in love.

I Loved this skirt!
May 16, 2018When I tried the skirt on I didn't think it would look right, because I have a pudge. OMG it fit and looked great! I was so surprised. I caught it also on a fantastic sale. Now in the fall I need a blazer on a fantastic sale...lol Thanks J Crew!

I love this versatile skirt!
February 10, 2018Now that I have five of them, I can safely write a good review without worrying they'll sell out. These skirts are awesome - look great casual or dressy, comfortable, easy to get on, interface well with any kind of top, and totally hide chubby areas/pantylines/etc. I wear them all the time with a Tissue Turtleneck and leggings/tall boots. For dressy stuff, I pair them with a Tippi sweater, with tights and suede party shoes. I can even get a punky look out of them with t-shirt and boots. I am normally a schlub, but sometimes need to look presentable, and these skirts are so easy and versatile they have won my tomboy heart. Also I am old as the hills (40s) and these look fashionably funky in an appropriately mature way, not childish at all. In terms of size, I am short (5'3") with a straight/athletic shape, generally wear a size 2 or 4-Petite in J.Crew, and the Size 2 fit me perfectly. Size 0 was too tight on my waist, and Size 4P was too short (but I kept one 4P just in case).
