Long pencil skirt in faille

I bought this in pink to wear with a black cashmere sweater for a wedding since I’m 5 ft it’s the perfect formal length for me I bought a 6 since the 8 was sold out so I have 5 months to lose 5 pounds since it tight around the waist but it’s a good excuse to lose weight the fabric is fancy and well made. Worth the special price I paid keep up the good sales Jcrew I can now afford your clothes

I was a tad bit nervous on this purchase, however, when the skirt arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. I noticed that the color was AMAZING. I ordered this skirt in the hot pink. It reminds me of the 60's styling with the A-line and split in the back. I paired this with an off the shoulder sequinned antique crop top along with a pair of hot pink feathered sandel, a purchase from JCREW a couple of years back. It was Easter Sunday and my birthday! Thank you JCrew for making me fell like a million bucks on my special day!

I prefer to leave picture reviews but this time around the recommendations to size down one failed me. This skirt is TRUE TO SIZE if you’re not a slim/slender body frame lady. I ordered one size down and slightly snug around waistline, hips fit just right though but can’t zip up completely. Too ravishing a skirt to not wear so I have to lose the 5 extra pounds to get that zipper up. Bought both black and pink but the pink takes the cake! I highly recommend.

Ordered in pink (my favorite color) and love it! The waist is slightly small but not tight enough to order size up. Slightly puffs out at the waist but I like that look and think it will stand out with a tucked in shirt. Easy to dress up or down and I am considering purchasing another.

I am 5’11’’ about 140 and usually a 27/4 in J.Crew. I agree that this fits large. I ordered a 2 and it fits my waist perfectly, though I wouldn’t want to eat a large meal while wearing this (ha). It totally puffs out as mentioned but it’s the look and I like it. Must wear with bodysuit or tight shirt to show that detail off. It’s not as long on me as on the model but I think she’s only 5’9’’. Would have loved a tall size but I guess I can’t always have that option.
