Embroidered chambray short

I purchased a size 4, which is my usual size for J.Crew (or 27-28). I'm 5'8", about 135-140. I was pleasantly surprised with these, despite the other reviews. They did fit high on my body, but I still feel like I got great coverage on the back. My only complaint is that they are not lined inside, which means that the embroidery can get itchy if sitting doing and get come irritating because it scratches the skin. Nothing outrageous and I'm still happy for the price I paid.

These are very high waisted and went up my but like no one’s business! The fabric is very thin. The leg cut is huge compared to the waist, so they feel a little diapery. Cut embroidery but the cut wasn’t comfortable or flattering.

these would be great if the rise weren't so high. they are really cute, the embroidery looks good.
