June 22, 2025Don’t sleep on these - they’re great light shorts for the summer. The white is VERY see through, but they are so breezy, it’s worth it. I sized up for a baggy look.

Good fit, bad fabrication/design
January 18, 2025The linen blend fabric gets very wrinkly, and because of the patch pocket design it's difficult to iron the wrinkles out completely so the pockets lay flat. For those who don't mind a laid back, wrinkled linen vibe these could work because the fit is good. For those wanting the crisp look pictured on the model just be aware that these will need a thorough ironing before each wear.

Great shorts but the quality is lacking terribly.
December 13, 2024I really like these shorts! I’m 51 yrs old, 5’5.5” and I weigh 149lbs. These are a great length for me. The issue that I have is that seams are not aligned! The front of the shorts are not sewn straight. The right side of the shorts are at least two inches over to the left. So this makes the tuck on the pockets not lay flat. Also since the right pocket is scooted over to the left, the bottom of the pocket pulls at my hips. It’s definitely a lack on Jcrew’s part on checking into the quality of their garments!
