Kate straight-leg pant in plaid Italian stretch wool blend

I want to echo what another reviewer said-- Not cool on a final sale item to buy your size in the same style and have them fit much differently. I'm usually a 2R in J Crew pants and these are waaay too big for me. My local J Crew was kind enough to offer to do an exchange for the 0R that was in-store, but those were also too big for me-- these was a whole bunch of extra fabric in the crotch. Now I'm stuck with a pair of pants that don't fit me. Lesson learned. As the other reviewer suggested, a shorter return window would be better than doing final sale, especially when there are items that are not cut properly and/or don't have the same sizing as before. Very disappointed.

Nice thin wool pant, however these in size 8 fit so much larger than all the other Kate pants I own, they were two inches larger across the waist. Jcrew, how about a mere 3 day return policy instead of this final sale stuff, especially when you have some items that are not cut properly?

Love the color of these pants. They have a dark green which almost looks black, the faded fatigue (I like to call it loden frost) and cream. They are fully lined, have a wee bit of stretch and pockets. I haven’t “opened” the pockets yet but they seem to be deep enough. The back has two pockets as well. They are comfortable and look great because the plaid pattern lines up perfectly. They are 96% wool and 4% elastane with a 100% silky polyester lining. I have no bum and narrow hips and a size 6 fit perfectly. I am 5’7”, 137 lbs. I got these on sale but can understand the retail price for this kind of quality. I am wearing the faded fatigue utility shirt in the photo which matches wonderfully with these slacks. Thank u JCrew!

Well-made wool dress pant with a little stretch, but fit runs very small. I purchased the 12 in the jacket but had to size up to a 16 in the pants. The 14 made it up my bottom but would not zip. I’m usually a solid 10/12 up, 12 bottom depending on cut and material. The quality is there, but the sizing is off. If you have curves on the bottom, you will definitely need to size up.

I ordered these in a size 4R but need to return for a 2R…they are flattering but too big…with that said they seem TTS since I am 5’4” and 125# and 28” inseam…average built…I own other jcrew pants in 2P, 2R, & 4P depending on the style…nice overall feel but slightly big on me in the 4R

Fun suit. Fits true to size. Pants are lined and received lots of compliments!
