Lady jacket in emerald tweed

The fabrics J Crew is using is just not up to par compared to those in the past. Love the look of this and am wearing it, just wish the tweed was more substantial. This will not be a jacket that lasts for years. Glad I bought it on sale.

I second the first reviewer. Please Please JCrew, stop all of the poly. Please bring back the natural fibers that you all do so well.

JCrew, I really wanted to live this, as I have several lady jackets among my favorite pieces. However, this one is made of polyester and as soon as I unpacked it, the fabric started to flake! The clothes I was wearing became covered in pieces of this jacket's fabric, aka plastic. JCrew, please stop making clothes out of plastic. We don't need more plastic in our environment. Needless to say, I'm returning it.

I am a collector of the tweed lady jackets and had to have this one as green is my favorite color. The spicy jade is such a rich, dark hue. The tweed has flecks of a pinky/lavender shade that is so lovely. I paired with the matching skirt, but also loved it with the slim wide leg jean in stay navy wash. Fit is true to size for me, but like all lady jackets if you have broader shoulders or fuller waistline would recommend sizing up. Full suit looks great with the Avery pumps in green velvet if you snagged those a few seasons back.
