Lovely skirt
October 3, 2019I like the skirt , it looks amazing with the jacket, Very chic and classy. I’m usually a 12 and it’s very tight around the thighs and waist. But it still rocks! Even snug, I found it very comfortable to carry on with my day. One drawback is the lining gets stuck above the actual skirt so that can be a tug of war battle. Still a fine skirt. I’d buy 2. Compliments from co-workers as well.

Beautiful and TTS for me!
September 15, 2019I ordered this skirt in a 6 and the matching jacket in a 4. I am 5’5”, 134 pounds and curvy. After reading the reviews, I was concerned that the 6 would be too small and I almost ordered the 8. When the size 6 arrived, it fit perfectly! Not snug at all. In fact, it fits me like it does on the model. The waist is slightly large, but fine. I do not have other J Crew pencil skirts, so I can’t compare to those on sizing. But, I typically wear a size 4 in J Crew dresses and a 6 in the Edie pants. The skirt is gorgeous and perfect with the matching jacket. Very glad that I purchased this!

Runs Small
August 19, 2019Runs very small through the hips. I would need to size up at least one if not two sizes for it to fit the same way as all my other No. 2 pencil skirts.

Snug in the hips
July 29, 2019I would never think of myself as having an hourglass shape, but this skirt made me feel like I had a legitimate booty. I ordered my normal size, which was loose in the waist and so tight in the hips that if I sat down the skirt would likely rip right open. I’m hoping they have the next size up at the store (& that it fits me). This is pretty disappointing - it’s a gorgeous skirt with a fantastic matching jacket (jacket fits perfectly).

great for transition
July 25, 2019I am always very pleased when I see a classic piece of clothing. This skirt is definitely that. I would say it runs on the smaller side and the fabric, which is pleasantly light, has absolutely no stretch. I guess I am getting spoiled with skirts that "move" with me and I know I would not wear this skirt with pleasure, so I will return it.

Great fit, not much stretch.
July 25, 2019I wear an 8 in No 2 pencil, and the 8 in the skirt fit. It was nearly too snug in the hips, but the next size up would be too bigl. Not as much stretch as the cotton version, but overall a versatile, well-fitting piece. Fabric is lighter weight and appears of good quality.
