Perfect spring/summer dress
July 25, 2023I bought this dress in March in my regular size (00) and love it so much that I obsessively check to see if JCrew has decided to sell it in a different color (light blue perhaps?). I also purchased the same style in the black/white gingham (wool) dress that was offered but that one is simply not as beautiful (and I prefer the terry tweed over wool) as the pink/white in my opinion - which I have now worn everywhere, from a recent trip to NY to work receptions in DC to family birthday gatherings in FL. JCrew please offer this dress/style in other colors!

A landmark piece
April 13, 2023The quality and design of this dress remind me of J. Crew's formal dresses 10 years ago. The dress is true to size and it's even machine washable. I reduced one star for the length. The size 0 is only in 34inch long. If it can be two inches long, it would be perfect.

Disappointed
April 7, 2023I wanted to love this dress so much. But was too large for me. I followed the sizing chart and everything, and now I’m stuck with a big dress that I cannot return or exchange.

Beautiful Spring dress
April 6, 2023I was hesitant to order based on reviews, but decided to take a chance, and I am glad I did. This dress is well made, medium weight, lined, and the length is appropriate for work. The dusty pink is a nice muted Spring color. I ordered size 6 (5'4", 134 lbs., 34C) and the fit was perfect. It is not too tight in the bust area, and the dress skims my body down to my waist without clinging. The flare of the skirt looks more pronounced on me than the model. The sleeves hit halfway from my shoulder to my elbow, so longer than a traditional short sleeve. I have small arms, so the sleeves are not tight, but if I hold my arms over my head, they do feel a bit constricting and the dress pulls up a few inches. I rated this as slightly small because I am usually between a 4 and 6 in J. Crew dresses, with the 4 sometimes small around my ribcage and the 6 being slightly loose. The 6 in this fit snug but not tight. If you are in between sizes because of your upper body, go with the larger size.
