Argyle V-neck cardigan sweater in Supersoft yarn

I never write reviews, but J Crew’s latest trend of eliminating natural fabrics in their clothing is driving me crazy. Saving me money, but driving me crazy. My love affair with J Crew has been lengthy, but the spark has been gradually fizzling out and the only thing I can point to is the fact that so many potentially wonderful items (because I do love the argyle pattern and colors) are falling short with the composition primarily being polyamide. This toxic fiber makes up OVER HALF of this sweater and I know from experience of buying the “super soft” sweaters in the past that it will make me sweat like I’m in the Mojave desert in peak summer, blow out with the amount of stretch in it and pill. Why, why are you moving so far away from natural polyamides like wool and silks and charging the same price point? Come on J Crew. I love you, but you’re breaking my heart. One star for the color and pattern choices. My praises end and begin there.
