Woven-front cardigan sweater

I tried this on in store on a whim and was extremely pleasantly surprised at how it looked and fit. I tried both a Large and a Medium which are the two sizes I wear at J. Crew, depending on fit. I do not like tight clothes- nor do I like baggy. So, an ideal fit for me is a nice drape such that the item looks and feels comfortable. The Medium was perfect in this style. I purchased and wore it buttoned over a white button-down, topped off by the blue Matelassé jacket with the blue Bristol pants. It was a very professional and stylish combination- the bottom of the sweater ended at a good length for my 5' 6' height. The colors and materials of the sweater are gorgeous and unexpected. I am very glad I gave it a try.

I read from other reviews that this cardigan ran quite large, but I stuck to my usual XS (I am 5'4" with a 25 inch waist). This cardigan wasn't flattering at all on me; the front panels are quite stiff and do not flatter curves. If you do order it, be aware that it is quite large and to perhaps go down one size. The quality is very nice!

This was my husband's favorite piece from my recent online haul :) It is slightly oversized (but not huge) and the fabric makes it way more interesting than just a solid cardigan. My usual size XS fit like it does on the model, but if you want a more fitted silhouette, you could go a size down.
