5 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
Customers like the classic, preppy look of this cable-knit cashmere sweater, and the shoulder button detail adds a nice extra touch. The cashmere and overall quality are generally well received, with several customers calling it soft, comfortable, and great for casual wear. Fit-wise, it tends to run cropped and a bit small, with sleeves that can feel short, so some customers suggest sizing up if they prefer a roomier or longer fit. A few customers found it especially nice for lounging or relaxed outfits.

Cozy Comfortable Sweater
December 25, 2020I chose the pink in large and couldn’t be happier with it. It is slightly loose-fitting, but perfect for lounging indoors with sweatpants or corduroy jeans.

This is a cropped sweater, not normal size
December 10, 2020This sweater is a cropped sweater. Similar in length to the mock neck sweater at J.crew. With that being said, if you’re taller than 5’4, it will be too short. I am 5’4 and if this sweater was any shorter it wouldn’t fit me. As for the fibre quality it is medium to low. Cashmere from Mongolia is not considered the best—it is often associated with Chinese supply chains and mass produced. With that being said, it is commendable that J.crew is purchasing from a sustainable cashmere supply chain in Mongolia. Anecdotally, the best cashmere I ever bought came from Nepal and is likely difficult to obtain in large quantities and at an affordable price point. So you get what you pay for. That being said, a more appropriate price point for this sweater would be $90. Based on the actual quality and fact this is cropped. It runs small. I bought one size larger than my normal J.crew size.
