Cashmere crewneck sweater with Fair Isle yoke

Purchased both the camel and burgundy colors. The cashmere is plush and more importantly seems like it will last in your wardrobe. I wish JCREW made these in plain solid colors and perhaps even a turtle neck.

Love this thick luxurious cashmere! Fit true to size, I am 5’2, 125 pounds and a size small. I live in a cold climate, and wear a lot of cashmere. It has a fluffier loft to it, which makes it super soft, but does pill a bit more than some of my other cashmere. I just give it a gentle brush every few wears. Gorgeous sweater!

Beautiful quality, soft and comfy, classic style but slightly boxy fit- so cute with leggings or cashmere joggers but also appropriate for work with trousers or skirt. The ultimate versatile piece- great investment

First of all, this is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL sweater. Very high quality and the colors unique and not your typical red/green or blue fair isle. However, this sweater runs very large. The small runs 23 inches across the bust. The XS runs 20 inches across bust. I typically wear a small or sometimes medium in J Crew sweaters. I ordered a small and XS. As noted, the small was extremely large and is being returned. The XS was fine (although I probably could have also worn an XXS). Also, as another reviewer noted, this sweater is short and would not recommend for long torso folks (unless you like a cropped look). Overall, beautiful sweater. Fit is a challenge.

This was a last minute purchase for a trip to Germany. So glad I bought it! I wanted a slightly oversized comfy fit. Tried on both M and L. Went with my usual M. It was perfect. Layered it with a long sleeved T-shirt underneath and unlined felted wool coat overtop. Walked around the Christmas markets all day and was cozy and stylish. Quality of cashmere is excellent!

Okay, I am now weirdly obsessed with the J.Crew fair isle sweaters. I just recently bought the other cashmere fair isle yoke sweater that is brownish and I am obsessed with both. I always thought these sweaters were for older people but omg I’m completely obsessed! This sweater is thick, super soft and warm, and very comfortable. I love that it’s cashmere and it feels very luxe. I did not have the same problem as the first reviewer, I found it to be a perfect fit. I like the slits because it gives the sweater more of a young people edge. It hit perfectly ay my hips. I would say you could size down from your regular size because it’s slightly oversized but not too big. I bought an XL because I plan on wearing a thicker shirt so I want to be comfortable, but the large would have also been okay. It looks good with dark blue, white, and black jeans. This is great quality cashmere and a reasonable price compared go other brands. Absolutely love it, and truly highly recommend! (:
