Cashmere crewneck sweater with nautical embroidery

I usually save nautical clothes for the Spring, but I was very excited about this sweater and I wore it this month, still Summer but getting chilly. It is so fun! The embroidered accents add so much depth, much more than for printed embellishments on other sweaters. And I discovered that a cherry-red long sleeved tee underneath is a great pairing and it nicely offsets the red stripe around the neck and cuffs (note, though, that the sweater is very lightweight and a shirt underneath visually changes the look of the sweater; I didn’t think the navy tee underneath worked that well for this reason).

Very cute purchase from the 72% off sale. I'm usually a medium in this style/cut of sweater and it fits perfectly. Love the nautical theme.

I always like Jcrew's nautical-themed designs and this is another one for my collection. This will be a great piece to wear when I go boating (or imagine so. :-)). The material is super nice and the fit is flattering. I am usually between Small and Medium for Jcrew but opted for M for a looser fit. It turned out great.
