Cashmere half-zip sweater in ombré stripe

I bought this sweater on sale at $300 and read the reviews so I got the XL but the cashmere feels like fake cotton a non-natural material for a cashmere sweater. I have bought plenty of cashmere sweaters from J. Crew in the past and always had the confidence I'd get the best of the best quality. Too bad like with most fashion orgs. now it's all gone to crap fast/fashion. I won't ever be buying from J. Crew again.

In complete agreement with the previous post - just received my sweater as well and ordered my normal size - XS - this is not a relaxed fit sweater at all - incredibly disappointed in J.Crew for this one. And its sold out, so no chance of returning and getting a bigger size :( what a waste of money :( (For reference - 5'3, 123lbs, Chest 32C, waist 26)

This sweater is described as a relaxed fit, but I would say it is more fitted. I should have gone up a size but instead I ordered my normal size and it is slightly snug, which is not the look I was going for or the look I thought I was getting when I ordered a relaxed fit sweater. The colors and the style are great, but the fit is off and there had been no reviews at the time when I placed this order to help aid my decision. If you like it fitted, your normal size will be fine. If you are truly looking for a relaxed fit, then you would probably need to size up one or two sizes. By the time I figured this out, everything is sold out. I’m sure I’m not the only one who had sizing issues given the mislabeled relaxed descriptor and no reviews.
