What customers are saying:
Many customers appreciate the sweater’s high-quality yarn, gorgeous colorways, and overall artistic design. They suggest sizing up if you prefer a longer or more relaxed look, as several customers found the cropped style to be on the short side of their expectations. A few customers mentioned minor concerns like pilling or the sweater feeling preworn, but those points were less common. Overall, the sweater is seen as a stylish and cozy option that stands out with its unique style and attractive color palette.

Beautiful colors
January 15, 2022This sweater is warm and cozy. I have the blue/green color way and love it. I am an xs but i ordered in a sz L. I love the way it fits. Slightly longer and it still does not look oversized. I would love it in an oversized type too. The only issue I have is I ordered online, along with another sweater blazer and both items obviously had been worn and returned before I purchased them. They both had noticeable pilling. I kept this space dyed sweater because I love the color. Just disappointed I received preworn items.

Beautiful colors
December 31, 2021This is a really beautiful, thick sweater in a gorgeous yarn (I ordered the blue/green). It is short, I sized up to a medium (I am 5'6, 127 lbs) but will look good with high waisted jeans and is still long enough to even tuck the front in a bit. The sleeves aren't fitted but still look nice with the roll cuff. If you're worried about length just go up a size and you'll be all set.

another example of a changed fit from Jcrew
December 24, 2021There must be some changes in technical design department at Jcrew this season: this is the third sweater that has a confusing fit to me. For reference, I'm an easy, everything-fits-nicely type of person: 5'7", 129 lb, 34C, no major curves but a lean feminine shaped woman, S or XS (if oversize fit). I tried both S and M for this and the Medium is definitely a better fit: the neckline is not tight as it is with Small and the length is better. I find Jcrew "cropped" styles rather odd fitting: it's like they can't fully commit to a cropped look of H&M or Zara but rather just do it passive-aggressively short. Returned both. Maybe I'll repurchase if it goes further down on sale in Spring, TBD. The color is beautiful though, not as saturated blue as on the photos, but still nice. I purchased in blue. The quality is lovely and the sweater is soft but already had light pilling out of the "box".

Stunning
December 23, 2021Such a beautiful sweater. I wanted it the moment it came out. It's so artistic and unique, matches my personality:) I love it. Bought both colors. It's true to size, but as mentioned by another reviewer, if you'd want it to fit like the model, size up one size, otherwise it's fitted, which is fine too for me. Definitely recommend.

size up a few
December 15, 2021I am a true XS (5'4'', 110lbs, petite frame), and I sized up to a Large and I am in love. I prefer larger sweaters anyways/oversized versus cropped but the colors in these sweaters are too good to pass up. I purchased both of colorways.

Beautiful but SHORT
November 21, 2021The quality of this sweater is great, the yarn is beautiful (I ordered the blue.) It does technically fit true to size in that it is not too snug and fits well in the shoulders, but it is so short waisted. The description says it hits at the hip and this barely grazes the top of my hipbone. If I raise my arms at all or lean over, the sweater creeps way up. Compared to other JCrew "hits at hip" sweaters, this is short. It almost looks like it's been shrunk, like it took an accidental spin in the dryer and lost a few inches off the bottom. The sleeves are also a tad shorter than normal for JCrew, although I prefer this hit-at-the-wrist bone length. The model in the picture must be wearing a larger size, it hits her lower on the waist and the sleeves appear longer. For reference, I am 5'2, 117 lbs, short waisted, small on top and wear XS or size 0 in sweaters/tops at J.Crew (sometimes an XXS or 00 if oversized.) If this is short on me, it will be short on you. This one's going back.
