Popcorn cable-knit sweater

I’m 5.6 and 133lb. My usual size is mostly S or sometime M in jcrew, but I got M in this one for a more casual look. I tired S in store, I can wear but I don’t like the fit and heavy feel. This sweater is thick, so a little heavy than other sweater in a good way. I got the light gray color. It looks like good quality and has long sleeve. Not itchy than I thought. I’m considering to get another color, Ivory or red.

I order this in grey and Ivory. Both are lovely colors, I received the ivory sweater 1st I found it to be itchy and the length To be to short on me. It’s boxy and it’s nice just to itchy . Then the grey came and I found it to be itchy but not as much as he ivory and the grey to fit really good. The length was nice on the torso pad the length of the arms were too long. Unfortunately there is no consistency in both the sweaters. So both are the same model they both do not feel the same. I love the way the gray fits and unfortunately hate the way that Ivory fits. I think if you order a darker color you may find that there is more room and more length if you have a longer torso. I ordered it in a 3X and I tend to have a longer torso. Hopefully this helps

5'1" 120lbs. Ordered a small. Exactly true to size. I usually size down (to xsmall) at jcrew but based on other reviews I ordered my true size and I'm glad I did. I've been on the hunt for a classic cable knit sweater at a reasonable price FOREVER and this fits the bill. Got it in gray, it's a shade of gray that'll go with everything. I was nervous about the little pom poms but they're super cute. Unfortunately, it is very itchy. I'll have to make it work with a crew neck underneath because I got it on final sale. For the price I paid I'm not too upset about it, but it's definitely something to be aware of. If you are usually bothered by wool blends, you'll find this to be itchy.

The design is fine but the texture is very scratchy. I tried it on and had to take it off right away. Maybe that is why the model was wearing a shirt underneath. I bought it but did not pay attention that it was final sale so can't take it back.

This sweater is super cute on, but SOOO scratchy! If you can get past the scratch or layer when you wear it, then I definitely recommend. This fits true to size on me, even with a layer underneath, but if you are between sizes, I recommend sizing up so you can layer.

These sweater are thick, cozy and warm. It feels like a fisherman’s sweater the length of the sweater is just like in the photos. There is a slight itch but, that’s what you get with any wool/nylon sweater. The colors of the sweaters are amazing to wear. I did size up for more room. I have bought 6 out the 7 colors all I need is the light blue. J Crew can’t go wrong with the quality of their sweaters and I have been buying them since the late 90’s and early 2000’s. I love them!
