Ribbed V-neck beach sweater

As other commenters have mentioned, this sweater feels very stiff and isn't comfortable on my bare arms. I'm quite disappointed as I have the collared beach sweater, which is extremely soft. But this one is 30% polymide so I guess lesson learned. The cut is flattering however so I hope J. Crew makes this piece again in 100% cotton.

This sweater is so rough and stiff. It feels like wearing semi rigid plastic. I assumed with 70% cotton it would not be so rough. I was wrong.

This sweater is a closet staple piece. Just the right material and coverage for any season. Layer in the winter for a cozy look or throw on for a cooled down summer evening. I generally wear size small and medium in tops (32/34A and size 2-4/6 waist), medium if I want it a little bit oversized. I decided to stick with small thinking that it runs larger. However, it is more "airy" than oversized if that makes sense. So if you want an oversized look then size up! Although, I am still very happy with the fit despite my misinterpretation. There are small slits on the sides and the V of the neck isn't too deep. Hope this helps with your decision of which size to get! so cute!

I love this sweater! It's a nice, relaxed fit without being too oversized. For context, I am usually a medium in J. Crew tops, sometimes a small if it's extremely oversized or a large if it's very fitted. In this sweater, I got a medium, and it fits great - as I say, relaxed without being too oversized. I read some of the other reviews saying it would be too deep a V to wear to work - I was worried about that, but don't agree upon its arrival. My only flag is that the neck opening is wide enough that racerback bra straps may show if you don't pull them to the side slightly. The only issue I have with this sweater is the knitting/quality: one color I ordered (the black) arrived with a noticeable pull in the neck thread, and the other color I ordered (the beige) has a snag after only half a day wearing. Maybe not the best quality sweater, but at this sale price of <$50, feels reasonable for a cute summer sweater!

I am a fan of this simple, summer sweater! It's super comfy and can be dressed up or down. I purchased the white, and it's a bright true-white. I'm 5/9 and typically a size 4/6 in J Crew. I ordered the small. It's slightly oversized. I'm not sure I would suggest sizing down, exactly, but it does run a little large.

This sweater has a very flattering fit, true to size and it looks fabulous on however it feels as if it's made out of plastic. I have even washed it to see if it would soften and no luck. It's so disappointing because the color is great and the fit is so amazing but I could not wait to get this sweater off when I wore it. I wore it all day to work so it was not possible to return it. It's going to be donated.
