Swingy cable-knit mockneck sweater

I'm allergic to wool and was so thrilled to find such a cute all cotton sweater to add to my winter rotation! The quality and color are great. I ordered on sale in size XXS after reading a lot of reviews that said the sweater runs large. My goal was to wear it relaxed like shown on the model, but alas! Size XXS is very true to size -- the arms are pretty darn fitted and the body just skims my hips (i.e., does not cover my tush like shown). Will look cute front tucked into jeans, but definitely not my intended styling...

I really like this sweater--cute fit, perfect weight, BUT the balls started falling off the fist time I wore it and now I am down to half of the balls :(. It went from something I would wear to a casual party, to something I can only wear while casually running around town.

I am a Small/6 in blouses but prefer slightly larger for sweaters so I usually size up to a Medium. Did that here, and it's quite loose -- I probably could have gone with a Small, and I can see most people saying, "normal size is loose anyway." This sweater being 100% cotton means that it will shrink in the washer/dryer. Also, buying slightly larger means that I'll be able to put an Oxford shirt underneath or wear slouchy with leggings it for additional style options. Design- and color-wise, LOVE it. Don't see any problems with the placement of the fun tiny balls either. (I know some people said it looked like nipples, but it doesn't really. Can't believe I just wrote that in an online review, but worth mentioning.:)

Purchased the Blue & Ivory! Perfect sweater to wear with anything. I live on the Coast of Oregon & the summer months can be chilly. Great for wearing with shorts while enjoying a bonfire on the beach when it gets cooler! Awesome quality! Never disappointed with J.Crew:)
