Tippi sweater with Liberty® print collar

This is very cute, but the material seems so thin for the price. Seems fragile and like it won’t hold up, so I’m returning it.

This will be my fourth Tippi sweater, and by now I know how this item wears on me. It runs a bit small around the chest, and does pill around the underarm and the chest area (where the strap of my crossbody bag rubs against it). It shrinks a bit after every wash so I order a size up. It is also quite thin for a stand-alone sweater but is an excellent layering piece. That being said, it has the best colors around and this Liberty collar is especially cute and pretty.

This sweater is perfectly preppy and so cute! Overall, I’m satisfied with the fit although the sleeves are shorter than they appear in the photos. They are more of a 3/4 length than long sleeved. The length of the sweater is a bit shorter than I would expect based on the photos, but I am fairly tall with a large bust so that may not be true for everyone. (For reference: I’m 5’ 7.5”, 175 lb, and bought a L)

This shirt is so easy, classy, and effortlessly put-together. The fabric is beyond comfortable (softest cotton ever). And the fact that it's washable is insane. I probably will air dry to preserve fabric longer. As far as fit, I'm always a Small in J.Crew tops. (Sometimes I even can squeeze into X-Small.) However, for this top, I ended up returning the Small and repurchasing as a Medium. The Size Small fit, but I didn't like how tight it fit around my average-size chest area. (If you're busty and plan on ever wearing to work, definitely size up.) Plus, the fabric was 100% cotton so more apt to shrink a bit in dryer (if I ever decide to use that). Medium was comfortable, just the right amount of loose, and perfect.

The fit and quality is good. I'm glad I bought it after seeing it online. I just hope that the fit does not change after washing.

I really love the fit of this sweater. It’s light enough to wear in the late evenings out. The neck isn’t tight. Really classy. I got it in navy blue.
