Open-front sweater-blazer in everyday cashmere

I bought this on a whim on a great sale, otherwise I probably wouldn’t have tried it. I’m so glad I did! The color is spot on to what I saw online, the fit is slightly oversized (I purchased a small, I’m usually a S/M in tops), and the cashmere is soft & high quality. Wore it to work and after a day, no pilling. It is lightweight and warm, goes with everything. I recommend it!

This sweater is of a luxurious thickness that is just this side of having / wearing a lined jacket or coat. It is kept very cold at work, and when I saw this on sale, it was such a lucky answer. The styling is conservative: shawl collar, longer length, does not button up. Purchased size Medium (black) and held my breath until I tried it on; fits perfectly! Previously I wore the black cashmere zip-hoodie in XL, and that fit my size 12-blouse self just the same ‘around’. Thank you J. Crew!!!

Cashmere is always my favorite and this style is a keeper. I'm 5 ft. and often wear medium in sweaters, like extra roominess. But one review said large and I kept that in mind. Ordered the small and perfect fit for me. Treat yourself to this one.

Sleeves are too wide and floppy at the wrist, collar is nice, length is nice and cashmere is nice and heavy but the sleeves made it uncomfortable and unattractive.
