Disappointing texture despite the charming design
August 5, 2025I purchased these shorts along with the matching pointelle tee, hoping for a soft and cozy loungewear set. While the scalloped trim and delicate stitching offer a charming, vintage-inspired aesthetic, the comfort unfortunately does not match the look. The fabric, though made of 100% cotton, feels unexpectedly coarse and scratchy against the skin—even after multiple washes. The pointelle stitching in particular adds to the irritation rather than the appeal. I had hoped the texture would soften over time, but if it doesn't improve after a third wash, I’ll likely retire them from my wardrobe. These are beautiful in theory, but not wearable for those seeking true comfort.

Love the Softness
