"Bonne Vivante" sweatshirt in original cotton terry

i really love this sweater. i hope it holds up after i wash it. yes, it's a little short, but i like it.

I bought this as a gift for a friend. While the fabric is of a nice quality and the cute logo a definite hit. I and my friend cannot understand why so many shirt styles today are basically cropped? Not ALL women desire this trend. Too bad that you seem to be designing for one subset of clients.

Unlike the other reviewer, I prefer a short fit. I'm 5'6 but I have a short torso so a lot of shirts are too long. Plus I like the look of a shorter top with a high rise. I've lived in Paris since 2014, and haven't been able to go back due to Covid so I will buy anything with French writing on it. Bonne Vivant isn't exactly a nice term in French slang, wearing this is ironic so I had to have it. While I love it, I don't like the inside. I have another J.Crew sweatshirt, and actually purchased another (it's on the way), and I hope it isn't like this. It would be so much nicer and warmer with a fleece inside. Instead it's scratchy waffle texture. I don't understand why they make them so rough. You have to wear a shirt underneath.

This is adorable, but as usual it's too short in the length. It is very boxy and too short for me as I'm close to 5 feet 8 inches. I don't think it would work for anyone over five feet four inches. It's too cropped and I kept yanking it down! Cute, but not practical. PLEASE longer sweatshirts!!!
