August 8, 2018A great sweatshirt for cool summer nights, spring, and early fall, especially for trips to the beach, ocean side, or airplane comfort. Nicely structured, not bulky or overwhelming. In person, the color is really light-toned salmon, closer to peach, rather than pink, which makes it more interesting and versatile for several seasons. The scattered bleached dots, although tastefully arranged, create a casual sense of chaos but depending on the angle of interpretation read as ‘sea foam bubbles’ or ‘salt drops’, fitting nicely with the Sailor’s motif. Works really well with a pair of white shorts, jeans, or a summer skirt in white, navy, madras, or sailor stripes. Overall, a handy and comfy piece that takes ‘casual’ to a fun, contemporary level.
