September 14, 2024I like this but not as a set. I plan to wear them as separates with other items. I purchased the small but could have taken an extra-small. The top is billowy at the bottom especially in the back. The skirt is also billowy. The fabric is light but it is a lot of fabric for the summer. The skirt has ties on the side that allows you to adjust the fit at the waist. This helps since it runs slightly big.

July 10, 2024I purchased this despite the iffy reviews for a dress-up travel ensemble. I'm 5'4", 110lbs and the XS is perfection. This has been an effortlessly elegant, vacation outfit for evening dinners. Light but substantive cotton fabric (seersucker stripe?) it's perfect for hot weather. I wish the cream would've been available at the time of purchase as I don't like black in the summer, but this proved to be chic, comfy, and wonderful. The top wasn't billowy or goofy for me as others have described. I adore this.

Great for 93 degree weather
July 3, 2024I bought a medium black halter top and skirt set in airy gauze. I'm 5'9", 170 lbs, curvy athletic 39"×32"×43". You can see I only tied the top behind the neck rather than threading the ties through the back loops. This is just sheer laziness on my part—what can I say, it's 93 today. Both pieces fit me well and I like how the skirt can be adjusted. I wish the skirt had pockets but they might drag down the waistline. The outfit is comfortable and indeed airy.
