Cotton voile beach skirt in beach paisley

The pattern is cute, I think the slits are fine and it is a perfect skirt to throw over your swim suit; however, it’s insanely thin and runs very large. Lightweight is great for summer, but the material reminds me of a sheet that’s 40 years old. Even catching this on a decent sale, so not worth the price. Size wise, I’m 5’8” and 124 lbs, I ordered an XS and I probably still could have sized down.

The color on this was very drab kind of like a muddy mauve which did not appeal to me. The skirt was also way too full, and I felt very frumpy in it. I bought my normal size large, but would need to go down to a medium to make it less full. The fabric is very lightweight and sheer which combined with the fullness of the fabric makes the skirt billow out a lot when you walk. The side slits are very high and seemed higher than what I could see in the photos. I am 5ft 7in tall and it came all the way down to my feet. Overall, this was just a miss for me and will be going back.
