Ruffle one-shoulder cover-up dress in soft gauze

So hard to figure out how to wear this. I wish J crew did not have sale items final sale. Bring back the old jcrew!

Other than the beautiful rust color there was nothing flattering about this garment.

Until I received it, I didn't have an idea of how closed it was on the one side. There are 3 ties evenly spaced from bra to high hip level. Just like the shoulder tie. You can somewhat see this in one of the photos of it in white. It arrives loose with 6" between so you could see your side in full with a swimsuit. I also tried tying it fully shut and it does, being less revealing if you need that anytime so it's more like a dress. It is not as soft as I'd prefer, but it should dry quickly. I will enjoy it and wear a lot I'm sure. If you're looking for something that reveals a waist or defined figure this isn't it, but it isn't frumpy or oversized, just fun and flowy. I wear a M and it fit true to size. A S would be too fitted at the hip to be tied closed and I like that option.
