Scoopneck one-piece

Have this in both black and Navy Blue. Very flattering. Fits TTS. Fit is modern.

While the silhouette itself is classic and an indispensable travel piece the quality in sewing/construction is pretty bad. Not what I expect from JCrew at all. I purchased a 12 and there is gapping at the sides under my arms. Tightening the straps does very little to help pull up the top of the suit and reduce the gapping and instead highlights the excess/roping fabric at the neck and top front. This in turn highlights the removable bra pads...which as an active swimmer/surfer only shift around.

I usually wear a two, and I think the 2 fit…? But it’s too short even after letting g out the shoulder straps. The bottom of the shelf bra was too low and I left like I was falling out. The back is *very* cheeky. I’m 5’4’’, 130 lbs. 34D/32E

Bought in navy green pink - classic bathing suit style - scoop neck complimentary, adjustable straps for the perfect fit, sleek back look - use for beach or evening with wrap for dinner. Wardrobe must have.

This suit, while well-made, is not well tailored. It's very short in the torso but the neck is very low and wide. So, even though I'm 5'4", the suit was very tight top-to-bottom with the straps at full length and the neck of the suit was below and to the outside of my nipples. If the neck weren't so inexplicably low, this suit would be great. The pink color is lovely, and it's well constructed otherwise. But who was this suit made for? The length from top of fully extended strap to lowest point of neckline suggests this suit was made for a tall person, but the length of the entire suit would never fit a tall person. If you're above 5'6", you probably need the tall in this suit, if the suit I received is any indication and not an anomaly. I wish I could post a photo, but it would be indecent. For reference, I am 5'4", about 135, and a 32 DD or DDD cup depending. I am hourglass shaped. I ordered a small.

I love the older version of this suit and was excited to try the new one. I sized down based on previous reviews. Just like the old one, I love the style and the quality is good. But the sizing is odd. The proportions of the new suit in size 6 are close to the old suit in size 8, except the length of the suit is way shorter. The built in bra is buckling, my breasts are smashed down, and the leg openings are as high on my hips as my belly button. Very, very cheeky in the back. The suit is not tight in width, there is actually a bit of extra baggy fabric on the side of the chest in addition to the smashing. It’s weird. My measurements are 36-27-38, D cup, 5’5” and I usually wear an XS on top and S on bottoms. I don’t know whether sizing up to an 8 will do the trick and since I’m not able to return it, I’ll pass the suit to a petite friend and continue my search. If you have a short torso and/or want a more exposed look, go for it! It is a nice suit otherwise.
