What customers are saying:
Many customers really appreciate the top’s playful style, beautiful color options, and overall quality. Many found that it works best for those with a smaller bust, with several customers recommending a size up for a more comfortable band fit and improved coverage. Experiences around sizing were mixed—with some customers getting a perfect fit and others noting that the top tends to run on the smaller side—so checking the size details is a good idea. Overall, the product is loved for its design and vibrant look, making it a fun option for the right body type.

Super low coverage
March 27, 2025[Employee of jcrew] I bought this top about a month ago. It runs very small but when I size up it becomes to loose in the underhand. I usually struggle with finding swimsuit tops but I can make it work but not with this.

Barbie!
July 1, 2023So adorable on my daughter 17 . So I normally would have picked out for my small busted self - she’s not and it fits her - you need a bust for this

for small A cup
June 27, 2023A triangle bikini top is a better choice over this style if you're a B cup or larger. Although the top is cute it offers no structure or support. it offers minimal coverage almost exposing nipples. Gave it to a friend that wears an A cup and it looks great. I purchased a small for 34B.

Unexpectedly flattering
May 30, 2023I tried this on and it was so surprisingly comfortable and flattering. I picked one up for my daughter and she said the same thing! We both love this style. The cups stay in place and when you lean over, nothing pops out. Further, it’s a bit padded and it keeps a nice structure. I feel like I could move around and be active in the water and not worry about an embarrassing moment. Haven’t tried it yet, but it seems that way. For reference, I’m like a 34B and petite. My daughter is about the same yet skinnier and younger. Lol! We were both surprised and would consider getting another in a different color or maybe one in each color!

Uncomfortable
March 12, 2023It was uncomfortable, possibly due to the tag. I couldn't wait to take it off.

Hard NO
September 9, 2022I should have listened to previous reviewers: this is NOT the suit for ladies with larger breasts. For reference, I wear a 36C bra (in JCrew suits that go by bra size, I'm a 32D -- go figure). I ordered a larger, worrying the band might be to big (it is) to accommodate the cup size (still too small). The straps seem weirdly wide-set, and tightening them only drags the band further and further up my back, not offering any assist to lift the girls. I've tried with the padding in the cups and without, and unfortunately this top is a NO. It was also regrettably a final sale. When is JCrew going to come to terms with the fact that something you CAN'T try on in store -- because most stores don't sell swim -- should be returnable. Especially when their sizing is so consistently NOT consistent!
