January 26, 2022I actually bought these to pair with the top as a maternity swim suit. Reading the previous reviews I was wary about the tightness. These were so cute and would cover me enough that I couldn't pass it up. Pre-pregnancy I'm a small at about 130lbs and my waist was 27.5". I ordered a large at about 20 weeks and it actually had some room to spare. Now I'm about 24 weeks, a bit bigger, and they fit great.

Not very flattering
January 25, 2022I purchased these so that I could wear them as a swimsuit or as bike shorts. I’m typically a size 25 or 00 in Jcrew and based on the other reviews I purchased a size small. It fit, but as the other reviews mention it has a sort of waist band at the top that’s very tight. The rest of the suit provides no compression. It’s very thin. I didn’t believe this when reading the other review but it’s exactly right on. The band feels like a hair tie. I wish the whole thing was more like bike shorts. I really like the pattern but I’m not sure I will wear these a bunch because they make me look bigger than I am.
