This swimsuit gets a lot of love for its cute ruching, vibrant colors, and flattering overall style, and several customers felt the fabric quality was solid. A common note is that it runs small, so many customers suggested sizing up for a better fit. The biggest recurring feedback is that the cut is very cheeky in the back and overall quite revealing, especially for customers wanting more coverage or support. Overall, it seems like a fun, stylish suit for someone who likes a skimpier one-piece and a more modern beach look.

Tricky Piece
January 9, 2019I read the other reviews and did size up one size, but honestly I think this cut works best for small bottom girls. 3 stars for quality because there aren’t cups, a shelf bra or any type of chest support, the ruching in front is a nice touch but the tie is useless, you cannot adjust it, it’s just sewn on I guess... the booty coverage is minimal, works for me as I have a small bottom.

Great swimsuit
January 7, 2019Material is good, but might be a little thin. The design is stylish.

December 18, 2018J. Crew's Playa line is definitely catering to younger women with less support and skimpier cuts and I am loving it. The undeniable J. Crew quality is still there. I purchased a size larger than normal (I have a curvy bottom) and it is so flattering. Yes, it's snug. Yes, I'm showing bits here and there. That is the point. The cerise color is truly a vibrant orange crayon rather than the cherry its name suggests. It's one of those colors that is too bright to wear normally but looks great for swim, especially on darker complexions! Cannot wait to wear this on holiday. I think I have a new favorite suit, and on mega sale I almost feel like I stole it! Some design flaws (or benefits?) to point out so you aren't surprised: the bow attached to the cinching is fixed/not tie-able, so the neckline cannot be adjusted. The strap length is also not adjustable. I have broad shoulders and a short torso, so the straps do dig in a little but the length of the suit is just right.
