Poorly made
May 3, 2025Bought this with another striped top and can’t get over the difference in size and quality between the two. This top runs small, is flimsy and very poorly finished, especially at neckline. Only bonus was it was on sale when I bought it. Giving it 2 stars simply because it is a useful layering piece.

Nice drapey layer
April 6, 2025Love the versatility of this shirt! I can wear it as light layer or on its own. Usually a small, I got the striped version, sizing up to a medium. This allowed for the fabric to drape better. Note that the neckline is seamless, though, so the fabric tucks under.

Fits small
Soft but too tight and slightly itchy
March 29, 2025Too tight overall. The fabric is nice, and had it been cut a bit more generously, there would be a nice drape in the fabric, flattering most body types. But alas, the stingy cut is perfect for a prepubescent girl with twiggy arms. FYI, 5'6" 120lbs, bought size small. Usual size in JCrew top is xs.

Nice casual piece.
March 20, 2025The model in the pic must be wearing a huge size because this top is cut very form fitting. I got my usual size M, and because of the sheerness of the fabric I wear a tank top underneath. I love the fabric. I always air dry due to the wool content. My only quibble is there is a lip or flap of fabric under the neckline, which curled up when I washed it, and the only way to straighten it is to iron it. So I just tuck it under. It's fine for casual wear but I probably wouldn't wear it to work.
