Nice shoes, once adjustments are made
August 8, 2024I love JCrew shoes and have been a long-time aficionado. Back in the day, the legendary Ceces ballet flats had a slight wedge. It seems that the shoes that followed the Ceces have a somewhat similar base, but the internal wedge has disappeared. However, the heel height remains the same, leading to many complaints about blisters, an overly deep heel part, and overall discomfort. These Zoes are no exception. To make them wearable, I had to add two (!) heel inserts. Once I found the optimal combination for my DIY 'wedge replacement,' they became wonderful shoes. JCrew, please bring back the internal wedge—your customers will love you, and there will be far fewer returns in the shoe department.
